Here we go! It's time to dig a foundation. Lynne and I are very excited to get started. We were hoping to break ground in November 2014, but we'll take January 2015. It seems crazy but that's how things worked out. Now we'll have a beautiful solid cedar home to show you. We'll be hosting events soon, as soon as it's safe to have people walking around the construction site.

Here's the view on January 26, 2014. We'd been talking and planning a home for over 2 years at this point.

It may not look like much, but staking out the house was a big deal to us. We wanted the house angled to provide the best views. We'll get to see sunrises in the morning, sunsets in the evening and have a great view of our property any time of day.
